Galens Tag Days: Thursday December 5- Saturday December 7

Students from UMMS’s Galens Medical Society will be out and about in Ann Arbor this weekend collecting donations for children in Washtenaw County.  The Galens Medical Society has four main goals: providing loans for residency interviewing, volunteering in and for the community (with Tag Days being the most publicized event), facilitating social interactions for UMMS medical students and faculty, and last but not least, hosting the Smoker annual musical parody.  The organization is celebrating its 100th anniversary at the University of Michigan this academic year and alumni are welcome to participate in Tag Days alongside current students.  If you are planning to spend Saturday watching college football or you’ll be out of town, you can also donate online.
