I’ve written before about the exciting developments in 3D printing and the natural fit that makerspaces have in libraries, so I was particularly excited when the announcement that Boing Boing‘s Mark Frauenfelder is coming to U of M came across my inbox.

The details:

When: Friday, April 5th, 2013 from 6 pm – 7:30 pm

Where: Chesebrough Auditorium, 220 Chrysler Center, 2121 Bonisteel Blvd

Who: Mark Frauenfelder of Boing Boing and the CEO of MAKE Magazine

What: Participate in a lecture about the maker movement and check out a slew of cool made things.

This event is put on by MLibrary with support from the Carl D. Winberg, MD Fund.
