Veterans Week 2012

Veteran’s Day may have been on Monday, but at the University of Michigan (ranked a “Military Friendly University” by GI Jobs magazine), events span the full week as the campus thanks and honors our veterans. Take a look at the upcoming events:

Wednesday, November 1

UM Depression Center Veteran and Military Programs Presentation – 2 pm – Wolverine Room, Michigan Union

PTSD and Ann Arbor Veteran Courts Lecture – 3 pm – Wolverine Room, Michigan Union

GI Jews: How WWII Changed a Generation Lecture – 4:30 pm – Kuenzel Room, Michigan Union

Thursday, November 15

K9’s That Serve and Protect Us Lecture – 11 am – Wolverine Room, Michigan Union

Lioness:Women in Combat Film and Panel Discussion – 12 noon- Gallery (Room 100) Hatcher Graduate Library

Army/Navy Wheelchair Basketball Game – November 12th, 7:30 pm – Crisler Center
