UPDATE 1:40PM, January 31, 2013: Due to flight cancellations, this lecture in the Penny W. Stamps series is regrettably cancelled.
When: 5:10 pm, Thursday, January 31st, 2013
Where: Michigan Theater, 603 E. Liberty Street in downtown Ann Arbor
How Much: Free!
What: Come hear Bloomberg’s Global Head of Data Visualization (and winner of the 2010 National Design Award for Interaction Design) , Lisa Strausfeld, discuss the attributes of successful data visualization, and how they can be generalized.
So many of us impact – directly or indirectly – user design, by providing feedback on our institutions’ websites or new products, that we should be informed about discussions in the field. This will have repercussions on health fields in particular; to name just one example, there are active strides toward creating effective patient portals for medical records.
