Did you know that the University of Michigan publishes an undergraduate research focused journal? The University of Michigan Undergraduate Research Journal (UMURJ) is “a student-run, non-technical research journal. [Their] mission is to build connections between undergraduate, graduate students, and the public, as well as among the different academic disciplines, through the publication of non-technical articles in all fields of research. “
The most current issue of the journal is available here. A great opportunity for undergraduates to gain publication experience, faculty members and research investigators should also encourage their undergraduate mentees to explore submission possibilities to UMURJ.
